Hippo's Triple Flume Whammy at Guildford Lido

Hippo have recently installed three thrill seeking flume slides along with a selection of splash toys at the Guildford Lido. The installation was completed in time for the Lido's 80th Birthday this summer. The new features will help to attract more families, especially young people to use the lido facilities.

The flume slides that have been installed provide 3 totally different water park style experiences and will accommodate a high throughput of children and adults. Very young children are able to ride the slides accompanied by a parent.

The two lane multi slide will appeal to all ages enabling racing amongst friends and family. For the more daring there is a Kamikaze drop slide giving the rider a thrilling experience as they plunge down the slide into the waiting aquacatch. Finally the Anaconda slide provides a more varied ride including twisting to both sides as the rider snakes down to the end.

One of the 2 toddler paddling pools at the Lido has been refreshed with a new non-slip safety flooring and a selection of splash toys, which include an interactive toddler slide and interactive play panels. These bright and vibrant water toys will entertain babies, toddlers and also children who have low water confidence levels. They will add to the family friendly fun experience at the Lido.
