Hippo Leisure to Promote Benefit of Interactive Water Play

Hippo Leisure will promote their interactive water play equipment and flume slides at the Elevate Show 2019, which takes place at London Excel from 9-10 May.

Research from the Amateur Swimming Association states that 1 in 3 children are leaving primary school unable to swim. It is therefore sadly not surprising that between 40-50 children drown per year in the UK, according to the Royal Society of the Prevention of Accidents. To help reverse this trend, Hippo Leisure are continuously innovating and designing versatile and flexible play equipment which supports leisure facilities and local authorities with their swim teaching programmes and encourages water confidence in children of all ages and abilities.

“Our products are bright and colourful to capture the imaginations of young minds while providing learning through play scenarios. They allow children of all ages and abilities to explore and discover their watery environment while increasing water confidence. At Elevate we will advise wet play facility managers on how they can transform their low usage play areas into interactive splash zones which will not only increase facility footfall and revenue but will help children to learn potentially life-saving water confidence skills” explains Andy Taylor, Business Development Manager for Hippo Leisure.

Hippo Leisure’s inclusive water play product range is suitable for the whole family, including low level play for toddlers as well as high level anticipatory and big splash play for older children and even adults.  If required, Hippo can ensure that play solutions are appropriate for use by those needing a more sensory approach. From play platforms and flumes to sensory play panels and toddler slides, a bespoke solution can be provided to meet any requirements.
